20 Inspiring Women to Take the Stage at Miss IndiaNZ 2025

Twenty outstanding contestants from across Aotearoa are set to compete for the coveted crown at Miss IndiaNZ 2025, now in its 23rd year of celebrating Kiwi-Indian culture, talent, and identity. The iconic event will be held at the Auckland Town Hall on Friday, 10 October at 7:30pm.

Far more than a beauty pageant, Miss IndiaNZ shines a spotlight on the next generation of Kiwi-Indian women — from medical professionals and academic achievers to future entrepreneurs and sports champions. Each contestant brings her own story, talent, and vision to the stage, representing the vibrancy and diversity of Aotearoa’s Indian community.

Produced by Rhythm House Films & Events, Miss IndiaNZ has become a premier showcase of elegance, fashion, music, and dance. Through dynamic rounds such as Kiwi Girl, Made in India, and Miss Talent, contestants celebrate their roots while embracing their place in modern New Zealand.

This year’s pageant also invites audiences to celebrate the Diwali festive season in style, glamour, and elegance. Alongside the competition, the evening will feature an exciting lineup of supporting acts — including homegrown singers, musicians, and spectacular group dance performances — making it a night of entertainment and cultural pride.

“Miss IndiaNZ has always been about creating opportunities for young women to express themselves and inspire others,” says Dharmesh Parikh from Rhythm House Films & Events. “This year’s contestants embody the future of Kiwi-Indian talent and leadership, and we are proud to give them a platform that celebrates both identity and achievement.”

Since its inception in 2002, more than 500 women have participated in Miss IndiaNZ, with many going on to successful careers in entertainment, media, and community leadership. Backed by loyal partners and stakeholders, the event continues to grow as a highlight of New Zealand’s cultural calendar, uniting communities in a vibrant celebration of heritage.
