We’re delighted to let you know you’ve been selected for Miss IndiaNZ 2025! As we celebrate our 23rd year of empowering young women, this is truly an exciting journey, and we’re so glad you’ll be a part of it.

We’re offering you a placement as a finalist for Miss IndiaNZ 2025. To accept this opportunity, please read and complete the attached agreement form by Friday, July 11th, 2025. This agreement outlines details about your participation at Miss IndiaNZ 2025.

If you’re unable to accept this spot, please let us know as soon as possible before the deadline. This way, we can offer this opportunity to another deserving applicant.

1. Who Can Participate

As a selected finalist, you:

  • Identify as being woman of Indian origin

  • Are 18 years or older at the time of the event

  • Are currently unmarried


2. Expectations Around Conduct

As a Miss IndiaNZ finalist, you’re representing yourself, your community, and your culture. We ask that you:

  • Avoid any behaviours (online or offline) that could bring harm to the spirit of the event

  • Do not participate in any illegal or defamatory activities

  • Celebrate your individuality while treating everyone with kindness and respect


3. Media, Publicity & Communication

We may use photos and videos of your participation to:

  • Celebrate your journey through event marketing, social media, and media coverage

  • Inspire others to take part in future years

We ask that you:

  • Avoid speaking to the media or giving interviews about the Contest without checking in with us first

  • Let us know before participating in other similar events or promotional engagements

Social Media Guidelines:

  • Please post respectfully and avoid content that could be offensive or misrepresent the event

  • Support and uplift your fellow contestants online—positive vibes only!


4. Judging & Results

We trust in the expertise of our judging panel. By joining the event, you agree to:

  • Respect the decisions made by the judges

  • Accept the outcome, even in the case of a tie


5. Participation Requirements

To ensure a successful and exciting journey, all finalists are expected to adhere to the following:

  • Official Launch: Thursday, August 10th, 2025

  • Training and Rehearsals:

    • Saturday, September 27th & Sunday, September 28th, 2025

    • Thursday, October 9th, 2025

The competition will feature the following rounds:

  • Introduction Segment: Showcase your elegance in an elegant saree of your choice.

  • Kiwi-Girl: Bring a dazzling outfit that resonates with New Zealand’s unique culture and identity.

  • Desi Girl (Question and Answer Segment): We’re excited to share that a special designer outfit, celebrating the spirit of Diwali, will be sponsored and provided to you for this round. The sponsored dress must be returned after the event. Please keep a backup traditional Indian outfit of your own.


6. Looking After Yourself and Your Belongings

  • While we take every step to create a safe and fun environment, we ask that you look after your personal belongings during the event

  • If something does happen, we’ll do our best to help, but we can’t be held responsible for loss or damage unless it’s due to our own error


7. In Case of the Unexpected

If the event needs to be postponed or cancelled due to things beyond our control (like a natural disaster or health emergency), we’ll do everything we can to communicate changes clearly and support you through it.


8. Confirmation and Entry Fee

To help us deliver a meaningful and professional experience, a one-time contribution of $195 is required. This covers aspects like production, team coordination, and contestant support. Every contestant will receive a $100 voucher to spend on event tickets.

9. Crown Return (For the Winner)

If you are crowned Miss IndiaNZ 2025 (yaaay! 🎉), we kindly ask that you return the official crown at least one month before the next Miss IndiaNZ event, in good condition. This helps us prepare for future finalists.


10. Responsibilities of the Titleholder

As the titleholder, you agree to:

  • Represent the Miss IndiaNZ platform at selected public events

  • Embrace your role with grace, kindness, and community spirit

  • Refrain from entering other pageants during your reign without checking with us first


11. Respect for Each Other

We believe in creating a space where everyone feels safe, celebrated, and supported. Please:

  • Treat fellow contestants, crew, and supporters with courtesy and care

  • Avoid bullying, gossip, or disrespectful behaviour — this may lead to disqualification if not addressed


12. How We Use Your Information

By continuing your journey with Miss IndiaNZ, you give us permission to use your name, photos, and video clips for promotions related to the event. We’ll always use your image respectfully and with the purpose of celebrating you and your story.
