Miss India South Pacific Launches Across Australia, Fiji and New Zealand, Culminating in a Grand Finale in Auckland

A bold new chapter in the celebration of Indian culture, talent, and identity across the South Pacific is about to begin with the launch of Miss India South Pacific — a new international pageant platform uniting women of Indian origin from Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand.

Produced by the team behind Miss IndiaNZ, New Zealand’s longest-running Indian pageant since 2002, this exciting new initiative expands the legacy of one of the country’s most recognised Indian cultural events into a wider South Pacific showcase.

The 2026 pageant season will feature four major events across the region, beginning in Australia and Fiji, followed by Miss IndiaNZ 2026 in Wellington, before culminating in the prestigious Miss India South Pacific Grand Finale in Auckland.

The event schedule is as follows:

Miss India South Pacific – Australia
31st May, Melbourne

Miss India South Pacific – Fiji
27th June, Suva

Miss IndiaNZ 2026
30th August, Wellington

Miss India South Pacific Grand Finale
Sunday 27th September, Auckland

This new international platform has been created to celebrate the grace, confidence, culture, and individuality of women of Indian origin living across the South Pacific. More than just a pageant, Miss India South Pacific is designed to provide contestants with opportunities for personal growth, cultural expression, leadership development, and regional representation.

Finalists selected from the Australia and Fiji events will go on to join finalists from New Zealand at the Miss India South Pacific Grand Finale in Auckland, where they will compete for the overall crown in a spectacular celebration of fashion, culture, music, and community pride.

With a strong legacy behind it and an exciting trans-Tasman and Pacific vision ahead, Miss India South Pacific is set to become a landmark platform for the Indian diaspora in the region.
